What was that twinkle?
I saw it in the corner of my eye
I lazily turn my face upwards to investigate
oh, there it is
a balloon has tangled in the highest branches
of that leafless tree and
there it is, it has lost it's ability to fly
tangled and torn,
there it dies
but the sparkle in the sun
still reminds me of celebrations past
Just a draft, but still...
